CASA DE LAS CONCHAS
The House of Shells is a unique building constructed at the end of the 15th century in the Gothic style. The building attracts travelers from all over the world who come to marvel at the more than 300 shells which cover its outer walls. The building houses the Salamanca public library and information office.
LAS DUEÑAS CONVENT
The Dominican nuns founded the convent in 1419, establishing a Moorish style palace with a pointed front arch and magnificent tiling. The convent’s church was built in the mid-16th century. It consists of a single pointed nave, with a Plateresque façade.
