Hi, I’m Cookie. I am a professional genealogist and a travel advisor specializing in curating trips based on traveling to your ancestral home country or city.

I think that traveling to places that have meaning is the most rewarding type of travel.

There is no substitute for
–discovering the history and culture of your ancestors…
–visiting your ancestral homeland …
– or walking the streets where your ancestors lived…

I have traveled extensively, both cruises and land expeditions, over the past 30 years so I am comfortable in suggesting and advising in several areas of the world. I have been to every continent including Antarctica. I explored Europe with my daughters beginning when they were only 7 and 10 years old. Now they are avid travelers comfortable in exciting cities and cultures.

Before starting my genealogy business named Doors to the Past, I was a pharmacist and professor. I began this travel advisor chapter in my life by assisting my family and friends plan their trips to their ancestral countries. I then realized that I can share my knowledge of travel with my genealogy clients as well as my friends and family. Now, being a pharmacist is a part time occupation and genealogy and travel have taken over my computer!

I would like to extend my services to all travel enthusiasts who desire more than a seven day cruise in the Caribbean (although I can arrange those also). I can book all travel experiences such as Ocean Cruises, River Cruises, hotels, airfare, transfers, expeditions and activities, excursions, car rentals, travel insurance, wedding or reunion destination events, and group travel.  Want to discover more places in the US?
